As we step into a new year, it feels right to take a moment to reflect on the milestones of the past year. What have we achieved? What have we learned? And, most importantly, what lies ahead?

When we founded Benelux Baltics in Business (BBinB) in 2020, we described it as an experiment—a bold idea to connect professionals across the regions and see where it would take us. For the past few years, it truly felt like an ongoing test: brainstorming, implementing ideas, and reflecting on what worked and what didn’t.

The Rise of “Pull Energy”

2024 marked a tipping point for us: we started experiencing what we call “Pull Energy” from our community. Instead of us reaching out to companies, more partners like MELP, Telesoftas, Sigli, and Copos Capital approached us for support and advice.

This shift was not just rewarding—it was validation. It also reinforced the loyalty of long-time partners such as BMI Executive Institute, Lithuanian Ministry of Economy and Innovation, Minds&Finds, Vindo Solar, Fintis, and BlockGames, who have continued to support our mission.

Building Brand Awareness

We attribute this shift to increased brand awareness. Thanks to marketing efforts spearheaded by Viktorija Lukoseviciute (Persona Cognita), we’ve seen a change: companies now find us through Google Search or LinkedIn, rather than solely by word of mouth.

Although we were sad to say goodbye to Emilija Banyte and Migle Mockeviciute, who left the BBinB Marketing team to focus on their growing careers, we’re thrilled to welcome Lina Malaskeviciene as our new Marketing Lead and Matas Minkevicius taking end-to-end responsibility for events. From the start, Lina and Matas have embraced our mission and brought fresh strategic thinking that drives ideas into action at lightning speed.

Delivering Tangible Value

In 2024, we focused heavily on defining our value proposition. Let’s be critical—what unique value do we offer to businesses? Here’s where we believe BBinB truly excels:

  1. 1:1 Professional Introductions
We help business leaders connect directly with relevant professionals, avoiding the inefficiency of general networking events. We have just received news that one of our partners signed a quick business deal thanks to our personal introduction.
  2. Talent Attraction Support
The Baltic region is growing rapidly, but talent shortages remain a challenge. We help companies tap into young Baltic-origin talent studying or working in the Benelux region. For example, our Copos Capital event on quantitative investment showcased how we facilitate meaningful connections.
  3. Showcasing Products or Services
Breaking into a new market can be daunting. We help businesses gain feedback, insights, and connections to potential clients through our network. Stay tuned to our next webinar on change management in January.
  4. Market Mapping
Understanding the competitive landscape of a new market is crucial. We offer market mapping services to identify business competitors and talents for recruitment purposes. Our toolkit provides insights into new market trends and gaps, helping you develop more effective business and marketing strategies.

Know a company that could benefit from these services? Feel free to reach out at hello@beneluxbaltics.com.

Looking Ahead to 2025

After hosting a record-breaking annual conference with over 200 participants, we’re already fielding questions about next year’s event. While we haven’t decided yet, one thing is certain: we always aim to raise the bar. Let’s keep 2025’s plans a little mysterious for now.

Next year marks BBinB’s 5th anniversary, and we’re planning a major website renovation, along with more articles and community insights. This is where the BBinB technology superstar, Nojus Kybartas, will undoubtedly play a key role. Excitingly, we’re also working on a teaching business case for a top business school—more updates on that soon!

Thank You!

Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re excited to grow, connect, and create with you in 2025. If you have ideas or insights, we’d love to hear from you!

Yours,
Agne Nainyte and Jurga Baltram
Co-founders, Benelux Baltics in Business
